I arrived in Santander this morning after the slowest ferry crossing ever. Pont Aven used to do it far quicker. 2 nights in Potes then into the pyrenees and down through Western France and back via Cherbourg. Left England in brilliant sunshine arrived in Spain to rain and 17 DEGREES!!!

Just think how good that first ride will be loads of fun when pinkie is better 🎉

Hi Shaun, good to see you, hope you and Faye are well. looks like great fun on that bike up and down tracks. there is a mountain bike course and tracks just 10 mins up the road from me, at Llandegla Forrest on the A525 Ruthin Road about 7-8 miles from Wrexham. I was in Bala 2 weeks ago and called in on the Rhug Estate just out side Corwen on the A5 just before the Bala turning A494. You want to try there fresh burgers especially the farm reared bison burgers, they are nice. Have a great time in Bala , I love this town. Enjoy your selves, Take care you two

Good to see you out and about mate. I was involved in an accident where I had to have my ACL and MCL repaired as well as a fractured pelvis it took months of physio to get better, it drove me nuts as well not be able to get about, so know exactly how your feeling. Take care.

Glad to see you out and about, not good when you have a accident, i fell down some wet steps last October, broke 3 ribs , now out and about riding my Motorcycle. Enjoy videos. Watched Faye on the electric bike at shell island, now thinking of getting one .

I have always enjoyed being at home, but on my own terms. After an accident, early 2000s, which caused me to stay at home for many months, not able to do much for myself (complicated knee breakage, with 3 broken ribs, broken shoulder bone and twisted ankle)..., well all i'll say is, ask me ex what she thought of the long and grueling days of me at home!! Hated it, both of us. It gnawed at my mental health big time and made me very irretable. Anyway, that's all history now. You have my full sympathy with your finger and lack of riding. After all, it's the riding that keeps the stress and problems down to a workable minimum. Yeah bud, YT requires you keep up with the uploads, but it's also nice for us, to see ya and catch up with your side of the story, and not just relying on Faye's version of your well being. You're looking ok, even if you are fighting the comfort eating urge. At least you have noticed it..., I didn't, and had almost 6 kilos to get rid of once I was more agile. Pollen, what pollen? You can keep that pollen mate, I can do without that..., we've had so much rain over here this spring, so I've gotten off light this year. Look after yourself, and thrash the hell outta that little china bike..., it'll do ya good !

Good to see you out and about mate. Ligament damage is a real bugger. My little finger was strapped up like that for over a year when I tore mine. Love the off-roading too, not so much Itchy Boots as Itchy Nads 😉. I used to love going to Bala Lake on my Z1 in the early 80’s. Gorgeous roads, less traffic and no speed cameras. Marvellous. It’s a bit far for me now though (I live in SW France) 😁. Let me know when you’re visiting Le Moto. I did my thumb about 15yrs ago and you don't realise how much you actually knock against things everyday, until you get that electric shock pain ×100.How much is one of those bikes. One thing at least it's been shite weather so far. Always find a positive out of a negative

For hayfever, I used to have the Kenalogue injection, would last me all season and no tablets. Unfortunately I had it twice in one year and now they won’t give it to me again as it’s a steroid. Was brilliant though. Hope the finger sorts itself out soon.

A few more weeks and i'm sure you'll be feeling much more positive about the outcome of your pinky and getting back on the BIG bike. I have spent the last 14 months off work on a zimmer waiting for... and recovering from hip replacement, now waiting for knee replacement.!! Presently, i'm practising getting foot onto right footpeg. All fun and games...😄

Measure your handlebars. On some SV650s the handlebars are not symmetric. Maybe its not you that's twisted!

You are aware there is a gear indicator on that bike, toggle through the options, there should be a gear and rev counter on the digital screen

Nice to compare this 900gs vs others for seat height, leg room, comfort, 2 up riding. , power etc. why do some choose the 900r or XR ? I'm on road myself so not interested in those wheels. The seat is more inline with pannier slope vs older models.
